Watermelon Lemonade

Quick, homemade, healthy and oh so delicious!

Healthy hydration for those long Summer days

This will be your go-to Summer drink

Summer starts next week and this is the perfect lemonade to sip on. Just two ingredients make it a simple and delicious blend. Watermelon is great at hydrating your body and is packed with nutrients and may also reduce inflammation in the body. Lemons are a great source of vitamin C which can help boost the immune system and lower your risk for serious diseases. The combination of flavors and the health benefits make this a great drink to enjoy. Below is my favorite way to make it.

Healthy Watermelon Lemonade


  • 8 cups of cubed watermelon

  • 1 cup of fresh squeezed lemons strained (about 2 medium lemons)


  1. Blend cubed watermelon in a high speed blender until blended into liquid. You could also process it through a juicer. Pour it through a strainer if it looks like you should, but I don't ever see a need to do so when I make it.

  2. Pour watermelon juice into a pitcher and stir in the strained fresh lemon juice.

  3. Serve over ice and chill the remaining drink. It does taste best chilled or on ice.

  4. You can mix up flavors by adding herbs such as mint, basil or thyme. Garnish with lemon slices, watermelon triangles or melon balls. Enjoy!!
